The Dalasi update

Africa » Gambia
Tuesday, June 17, 2008

The Dalasi has made some minor gains in respect of major world currencies notably the British Pound Sterling and the American Dollar that is very encouraging but not significant enough to make headlines. However as TESCO has it ' every little help' so is the case here as far as our Darling Dalasi is concern.

Much has remained the same of our last week trading figures. In addition to those encouraging gains we are poise to look forward to a week of relative calm in trading on the markets and with the Dalasi to continue its gallant performances against the major world currencies.

We would like to bring to you the currency markets trading figures as they buy and sell within our major Banks as dictated to the Central Bank of the Gambia. The figures are as follows as at the 05th. June 2008.
