Female leagues to start on Friday

GFA division one female league season will commence on Friday, June 20, Observer Sports can reveal. The six-team division two league will also start in earnest on the same day with Sea View and Real de Banjul training fields housed at the Independence Stadium hosting all matches.

In Friday's division one opener, Red Scorpions will take on Future-Bi, while Makasutu face the champions, Interior, the following day at the Sea View playground. On Sunday, Abuko United will square up against dethroned champions, Company Ten, in the final set of Week One fixtures.

Jeshwang United will look horns with City Girls in the division two opener on Friday. On Saturday, Kinteh United will face Jamcity, while Senegambia face Watford on Sunday.
