Lovelines: She takes my pregnancy to another man This is my blood; I don't want to lose itFriday, June 06, 2008 Lovelines Our relationship is 3-year-old and we were enjoying and living fine without problem until when a guy came from Europe for a short holiday. Since this guy whom I was told is my girlfriend ex lover arrived in the Gambia, my girlfriend behavior towards me automatically changed to extent of instructing me not to call her number or visit her. Now her ex has traveled back. The duration of his arrival with the holiday that he spent plus the time he has gone back to Europe to date is four months while my girlfriend is about six months pregnant. When I calculated everything with the period we were together I am surely convinced that I am responsible for her pregnancy. I called her and she finally invited me for a visit. I inquired from her who is responsible for the pregnancy she answered if it is my feeling the ".child to be fatherless," with different insults. Evidently, her behavior and answer clearly revealed that it is my pregnancy that she takes to this semester, her ex boyfriend. Lovelines, I don't want to lose my blood for another man! I own the pregnancy, I know this. (Name withheld) Going through your letter and my series of conversations with you on this issue I really felt it for you. I do not know your financial status or your background. But what I think that might have caused this is two things. First your girlfriend who takes your pregnancy to her ex might did it because of old love that intoxicated her with old promises thinking she might be financially happy with her ex. Secondly promises of taking her abroad in which you might not be able to afford her for now. So thank Allah that you are able to keep record and as well as a good calculator. I will advise you to tender this matter before her parents and if they refuse to settle it between two of you, then move on to Child Welfare Unit at the Police Station Headquarters in Banjul. They are in the best position to do everything possible that it will require bringing light to this matter. Try as much as possible to keep your records. There are many like you outside that will never come out to claim what belongs to them I am not judging but we don't want bastards in our society. So fight for what belongs to you so far you are sure. Good luck! Author: by Yunus S. Saliu | Media Actions See Also |
