The Gambia, my beloved country

Tuesday, July 29, 2008
Editor,

I am a Gambian, living in Rwanda. I have lived in many African countries and, whereever I go, I represent my great nation. President Yahya Jammeh is a blessing.

May he live long and continue to develop The Gambia. He is a great man. I hope that The Gambia develops even more, even faster and becomes the beacon of hope for the rest of the world. Every year I visit The Gambia and, every time I go home, it gets more and more beautiful.

However, I think that we need to work on the roads in Kombo. We need tall buildings too. But I am sure that our great leader will take care of that soon. All The Gambians living outside Gambia feel very proud.

To Observer, I want to thank you for your amazing reports. I check on your website everyday and I am impressed with the frequently updated articles. I keep praying for The Gambia. May Gambia and Yahya Jammeh live long! We support you!
