The Munyagen Lower Basic School in Jokadu District, North Bank Region, has thanked President Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh for donating D20,000 to the school.

President Jammeh donated the sum to the school during the nationwide Dialogue with the People Tour in May, which turned out to be a resounding success.

In a letter of appreciation sent to the Gambian leader, the Jokadu based school expressing its "happiness, joy and appreciation" for the gesture. The school also prayed for the president to continue steering the affairs of The Gambia.

The school disclosed that the money was spent as intended. They further prayed to the Almighty to continue guiding the president in all his endeavours.
