Ron Mango beat Young Biko 3-0 on Monday, as the Bakau nawettan tournament enters its week two stage. In a thrilling encounter played on a water-logged pitch at the Independence Stadium, Ron Mango, who earlier on drew 1-1 with Smiling Coast, used their experience to punish the Young Biko side and eventually ousted Linguere on top of Group D.

Linguere, who were successful in their battle for promotion after their shock relegation last season, earlier thrashed the newly promoted side, Five Junction 4-0.

In Group C, Saul Samba made up for their disappointing opening draw with Magadan with a 1-0 win over Scan Tours on Sunday. The victory saw Saul Samba leap-frog J-FIn FC, who earlier beat Fajara United 1-0 on Friday.

Bantankoto and Africell-Bremen both won their openers in Group C.
Bantakoto beat local rivals Katchically United 2-1 on Saturday, while Bremen emerged 1-0 winners against Cotton FC on Thursday. Saturday's defeat for Katchically was their second setback having settled for a goalless draw against Junior Arms in their opener.

In Group A, Super Cup champions Late FM FC, formerly Banda FC, beat Vidar FC 1-0, while Sea View also eased past Jazz with a lone goal victory.

Matches will continue today with Magadan taking on J-Fin, while Smiling Coast square-off against Linguere tomorrow.
