The production manager of the Observer Company, Baba Drammeh, has been interrogated and detained by personnel of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Gambia Police Force, after illicitly dipping his hand into the proverbial cookie jar.

Mr Drammeh's infamy came to light when it was discovered that he had sold a 190 Mercedes Benz belonging to the Observer Company to one Morr Touray.

Meanwhile, Mr Drammeh has been dismissed from the Observer Company and he is now helping the police in their investigations.
