One Ya-Marie Gaye of Serrekunda, was on Friday, arraigned before Magistrate PO Jobe of the Bundung Magistrates Court, for allegedly owing her maid D2,000.

The debt, according to the particulars of the case, arose as a result of the service of domestic work rendered to her by the plaintiff, Haddy Cham of Bundung.

According to the plaintiff, despite several demands, Ya-Marie Gaye had refused to pay the amount.

When the charge sheet was read to Ya-Marie Gaye, she pleaded not guilty, saying she does not owe Haddy Cham a single butut.

According to Ya-Marie Gaye, the plaintiff Haddy Cham fabricated  a false allegation against her just to tarnish her reputation.
