A football tournament dubbed stakeholders tournament got under-way yesterday at the Independence Stadium, Bakau.

The eight-team tournament which is sponsored by the Gambia Football Association bosses, Seedy Kinteh and Brigadier-General Langtombong Tamba, gathers stakeholders in football arena.

GFA Medical team thrashed Sports journalists side 4-0 in Group A opening match watched by scores of football enthusiasts yesterday.

Matches will continue today with Fan club side taking on the Security team at 16:00, while Coaches side play Administrators later on the same day at the Independence Stadium, Bakau.
