Ports Authority's Sanna Nyassi has teamed-up with his twin brother, Sainey Nyassi, in America after finalsing a loan deal move to  Sounders FC last week, Observer Sports can reveal.

Sounders, who currently ply their trade in the second-tier of American football, will start playing in the Major Soccer League (MLS) next season, and this will give Sanna the chance to team-up with his brother, Sainey Nyassi, who is in his second year with the New England Revolution, where he has two goals and an assist in 18 games this year.

Sounders general manager Adrian Hanauer could not hide his delight after completing the signing of the former Gambia Under 17 ace.

"Sanna is a very technical player, strikes the ball well with both feet and he has lightning quickness," Hanauer told the club website.

"He's young and he has a lot of work ahead of him, but if he works hard and listens to his coaches, he'll have a long career."

Sanna, who hailed from Bwiam, spent the past four years with Banjul Gambia Ports Authority FC before realising his dream of playing in a professional league. The crafted forward is delighted to have joined his brother in another level of the football, having enjoyed together, a good run in The Gambia Under-17 and Under 20 teams.

"It's a big opportunity for me to come here and show my talents in the league like my brother is doing, and I believe I can do as he is doing," said Sanna Nyassi who made his Sounders debut in their 3-0 thumping of Miami on Saturday night.
