3-year-old boy needs urgent help

Africa » Gambia
Tuesday, February 02, 2010
Momodou Boye Bah, a three-year-old boy residing in Nemakunku, is in need of help to go for overseas treatment.

The young boy is chronically ill-looking with bony prominence and pallor. According to the medical report issued from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH), Barium Swallow investigations have revealed esophageal structure and that currently, he can only pass sips of fluids and he is on four-hourly mill formula feeds, complemented with intravenous fluids.

The report added that the young boy needs an overseas treatment as there are no esophageal dilators for pediatrics. Amadou Jallow, a neighbour to the young boy, appealed to the government, philanthropists, institutions and individuals to come to his aid so as to save the life of Momodou Boye Bah.

Anybody willing to help can contact Amadou Jallow on 7084134.
