The public relations officer of the Gambia Armed Forces (GAF), Captain Abdoulie Mboob,has confirmed to the Daily Observer that four senior officers of the Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) have been discharged from the military and redeployed to the Foreign Service effective yesterday.

The officers are Major General Saikou Seckan, chair of the Joint Operation Centre; Brig. Gen. Lamin Bojang, the chief of Army Staff; Brig. Gen. Ebrima Bah, Inspector General of GAF and Commodore Madani Senghore, the chief of Naval Staff.
