at the Kanifing Police Station, for allegedly stealing D350 and a mobile phone
from one Haddy Manneh, a 30-year-old beggar
around the Westfield Junction yesterday. The alleged thief was escorted to the Police Intervention Unit (PIU) headquarters in Kanifing where he was searched but no money was found on him. Both the accused and the complainant were then taken to the Kanifing Police Station. The complainant, Haddy Manneh told this reporter she recovered the phone after the accused was caught but has not seen her money.
