Alhagie Batch Kah, an eight-year-old boy residing in Kotu is in urgent need of assistance to undergo overseas treatment. Speaking to the Daily Observer, Awa Kah, a relative to the patient, said he cannot defecate, which led to his stomach expanding.

“He uses pipe to defecate. He was also diagnosed at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital, it was recommended for him to undergo an overseas treatment,” Awa Kah told this paper. She is therefore appealing to the government, NGOs and individuals for help to save the patient’s life.
