Allow me space in your widely read newspaper to commend the national broadcaster (GRTS) for broadcasting live from Kanilai, during the APRC victory celebration over the weekend. This effort by the management of GRTS is applauded by all and we are proud of our national broadcaster for being able to reach this level now.

This also goes to show that the satellite system is really improving everyday and there is a strong management that will ensure that the TV  features interesting programmes. I have also learnt that upon completion of the satellite project, there will be live coverage of all major events countrywide and beyond.

I would therefore like to use this opportunity to commend Alhaji Momodou Sanyang, the director general of GRTS and his team for having done a wonderful job during the 4th inauguration of the Gambian leader, President Jammeh as well as the Foni Kansala APRC victory celebration in Kanilai.
