Honourable Abdou Kolley, the former minister for Trade, Employment and Industry, has been appointed the new minister for Finance and Economic Affairs.

His Excellency the President, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya A.J.J Jammeh, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under Section 71 (1) and 71 (3) of the Constitution of the Republic of The Gambia, has appointed Mr Abdou Kolley as Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs with effect from Friday 19th June 2009.
