I am 22, dating a girl of my age for the past 3 months. We have been having some nice time together since our first date.  I will add that we have never had a misunderstanding. We have been calling and texting each other frequently. About 2 weeks ago I received a call from a man who claimed to be my girlfriend's husband. He asked me a lot of questions and I answered. He said the girl is his wife and he has been seeing my regular calls and romantic text messages on her phone. I didn't believe this.

But when I asked my girlfriend, she said she was forced to marry him but she doesn't love him. I stopped calling and texting her but she still continued calling and texting me. Now her marriage has been called off. This really shocked me because I am the cause of all this. I know what goes around come round. Can I be forgiven? I don't know what to do?

Well, it seems your conscience troubles you. This is a really sad story. Actually, the girl should have more honest with you and not have kept you in the dark for so long. If her marriage is really over, what you can do in atonement is to marry her, but this is only if you truly love her. Try to sit down with her and talks things over to see where you both stand. If you both love each other and he's really a fiancé, what efforts have you made to find his reason for not telling you about his leaving? Why can't you ask him and yourself what you want to achieve in the relationship?
