Members of the Banjul Youth Committee (BYC) have received a boost as part of their preparations towards the upcoming Nayconf, scheduled for Farafenni in the North Bank Region.

The donated items include footballs, basketballs and athletic jerseys, all amounting to D50, 000. Facilitated by Mass Axi Gaye, Biri Njie and Mam Seye Njie-Sanneh, the donation came through Abou Dandeh Njie, the proprietor of Abden Sports Shop and current GNOC president.  The presentation was held last Thursday at the premises of shop, along the Kairaba Avenue.

Speaking on behalf of the proprietor, Ebrima Martin, the sales manager of Abden Sports Shop, said the gesture follows a request from the Banjul Youth Committee for assistance towards their upcoming Nayconf participation. He concluded by wishing them a successful Nayconf.

In receiving the donated items, Mass Axi Gaye of the Banjul Youth Committee thanked their benefactor for the "unbeatable gesture."
He urged other companies to emulate ABDEN Sports Shop.
