All Africa public relations conference slated

The Public Relations Association of The Gambia (PRAG) in collaboration with the Africa Public Relations Association (APRA) will host the 22nd all Africa Public Relations Conference from the 25th- 29 May 2009 at the Sheraton Hotel. According to a press release from PRAG, the annual conference will be attended by eminent personalities from across Africa and beyond. 

On the theme 'Climate change and its implication for public relations', the  annual APRA conference venue rotates from country to country. The release stated that the African Public Relations Association (APRA), which serves as the continental public relations association, draws its membership from the national public relation associations and individuals who do not belong to any national association.

The release further noted that personalities like Momodou Kotu Cham, the secretary of state for Forestry and the Environment, Dr  Ebrahima Malick Samba, former WHO regional director for Africa , among others, will present papers at the conference.  "The conference will also discuss modalities for an accreditation system for public relations in Africa ", the release added.
