One Lamin Jonga was on Tuesday arraigned before the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, presided over by Principal Magistrate Foster, charged with theft, contrary to Section 252 of the Laws of The Gambia.

The particulars of offence stated that on the 9th December 2011 in Bakoteh, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused person stole a mobile phone marked Nokia, valued at D900, being the property of one Ousman Bojang. When the charge sheet was read to him, he pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of D1,300, with one Gambian surety. First Class 3217 Camara stood for the IGP. The case was adjourned for hearing.
