Alleged windscreen breaker docked

Omar Jallow, a resident of New Yundum, was on February 25th 2010 arraigned before Magistrate Effim at the Brikama Magistrates Court, charged with the offence of wilful damage to property, contrary to the laws of The Gambia. 
 
The particulars of the offence stated that the accused, on the 20th of February 2010, at New Yundum wilfully and unlawfully broke the windscreen of a vehicle with registration number: BJL 2037G, valued at D600, and being the property of one Morro Sanyang. He pleaded not guilty to the charge. 
 
The police prosecutor, Sub-Inspector Camara applied for a short adjournment to enable him bring his witness. The matter is adjourned to the 9th of March and the accused was granted bail in the sum of D25, 000 with one Gambian surety.
