One Seedy Lamin Jobe, last Wednesday, appeared before Magistrate B Mahoney of the Kanifing Magistrates Court, charged with stealing.

According to the prosecution, the accused on the 8th of June 2009, in Dippakunda, stole 2 bunches of aluminium steel from the shop of one Amadou Kanteh, valued at D1200. When the charge sheet was read to him, he denied the allegation.

He was granted bail in the sum of D7,500 with one Gambian surety. The trail was adjourned until June 18 2009. Police Prosecutor First Class 2118 Gomez appeared for the IGP.
