Another accident in Lamin

Africa » Gambia
Friday, October 09, 2009
An accident involving a double cabin Hilux pick-up with registraton details - JICA 58 TA and a Gam Petroleum truck with registration - BJL 5850 D, collided in the early hours of yesterday at the Lamin NTC junction. Both cars were coming from Brikama end.

The accident occurred when the truck driver was trying to take a quick and unexpected bend towards the NTC junction to find his way towards Mandinaring and the pick-up driver, whom some witnesses observed might have lost control of his brakes while trying to avoid the truck, hit it causing damage to the left wheel and on one side of his car. However, there was no casualty from the accident.
