Aziz returns to training

Africa » Gambia
Thursday, January 14, 2010
Aziz Corr Nyang is back on duty for his Swedish Superettan side GIF Sundsvall after the Gambian international joined the team on training this week Gambia Sports Online has revealed.

The former Djurgarden, Lindingo and Assyriska forward risked the wrath of Coach Soren Akeby after he failed to return for pre-season training on schedule but it seems that the player and the manager have put that behind them already as Aziz was seen on training with all smiles.

The club confirms on their official website that the whole team is now present at training on Tuesday by saying "this also applies to those who were sick and those who had not had time to join the team after the holiday". "On Tuesday, it was Aziz Corr Nyang and Robert Mambo Mumba that joined the team and on Wednesday, Kali Ongala has also joined the team" the club states on their website. The first training week for the club includes a lot of physical tests and drills but also some ball juggling.
