Bah hits brace in Helsinki draw![]() Tuesday, July 28, 2009 Gambia international Dawda Bah scored twice as his Finnish Premier League leaders HJK Helsinki were held to a 3-3 draw at home by third place FC Haka on Sunday. The former Banjul Hawks midfielder equalised for HJK in the 12th minute after they went down six minutes earlier before he gave his side the lead in the 38th minute before the visitors fought back to share the spoils at the Finnair Stadium in Helsinki. His first goal came after a cross on the left side of the defence found him unmarked in the area and he tapped into an unguarded net for the equaliser. Dawda scored the go-ahead goal in the 38th minute in a beautiful fashion. He collected the ball just inside the Haka half, ran on his own, beat past his marker, cut inside before he unleashed a powerful shot into the top corner of the net. The draw saw the top three on the table unchanged as second placed IFK Mariehamn also drew 2-2 away to KuPS Kuopio. Elsewhere in Finland, Demba Savage helped his FC Honka Espoo side to a convincing 3-0 victory over VPS Vaasa on Saturday as they build on their mid-week Europa League success.
