Bansang Senior Secondary School in the Upper Fulladou West District, Central River Region, recently, held its annual speech and prize giving ceremony at the school ground.

The guest speaker, Demba Ceesay, the registrar of the Gambia College, highlighted the importance of such days in the academic year. According to him, without education, their will not be development. He then urged the students to take up their education seriously so as to be good future leaders of this country.

The vice principal of the school, Lamin Jobe, described the day as a moment of parting with  industrious, hardworking and disciplined students.
