The presiding judge at the Special Criminal Court, on Tuesday September 15th, issued a bench warrant for the immediate arrest and detention of one Andrew Jabang, a process server and staff member of  the Kanifing Magistrates Court.

The special court judge's decision followed a series of absences in court by Jabang, who is facing trial for theft. The accused, who was on bail, was said to have absented himself from court proceedings without any reasonable excuse.
