Wednesday, March 11, 2009
Brikama United bounced back from their weekend 1-3 defeat by Bakau United to upset mighty Hawks 1-0 in their week six match played at the Brikama Mini-stadium yesterday.

Modou Ndow's 18th minute goal from a free-kick was enough to fetch the maximum points for the Brikama side who now sit at the second position with 10 points - only 1 point below leaders Bakau United who would be hoping to extend their lead when they take on Armed Forces today at the Independence Stadium.

Elsewhere, Africell-Sait Matty and Tallinding United drew 2-2 at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium. Week six matches will resume today with Steve Biko taking on Gamtel at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium, while Sea View battle it out with Samger at the Brikama Mini-stadium.
