Butcher docked for cheatingWednesday, April 28, 2010 One Omar Bah, a butcher was recently arraigned before senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbackeh of the Bundung Magistrates Court, charged with cheating contrary to Section 290 of the Criminal Code Cap 10 Volume III. According to the particulars of offence, on the 11th April 2010 at Abuko Abattoir the accused sold a steak of meat at D100 knowing that it should be sold at D80, thereby commit an offence. He pleaded guilty and he was granted bail in the sum of D5,000 with one Gambian surety. The case was adjourned to 10th May 2010. Corporal 1883 Bojang stood for the IGP.
