Magistrate Surahata Danso of the Bundung Magistrates Court, on Wednesday convicted an sentenced two butchers, Mamud Bah - a Guinea Bissau national and Amadou Jallow - a Guinea Conakry national.

They were found guilty of cheating. According to the particulars of the offence, on the 11th of September 2009, in Sukuta, Kombo North, the two fraudulently obtained money from one Amadou Barry, by selling a kilo of steak and a kilo of meat and bones at D100 and D75 respectively. They both pleaded guilty.  

Magistrate Danso, then ordered them to pay a fine of D750 in default to serve six months imprisonment. The magistrate also warned them that in the event of a repeat, they would be jailed and deported.
