The Community Driven Development Project (CDDP) under Janjanbureh Local Government Area, recently held a one day information exchange and learning meeting in Janjanbureh, Central River Region (CRR).

The meeting was held for the 2008 CDDP project beneficiaries and the objective was to provide forum for sharing information, learning best practices and making decision to improve results of sub projects. The community development officer for CRR South, Lamin_Badjie said the forum will provide opportunity for the beneficiaries to exchange ideas on the project implementation. What have been achieved during the past few months. He urged them to make best use of the forum.

The community development facilitator Kajali Kanyi said the meeting was organised for them to assess the beneficiaries on what they have been learning during the past months, in terms of community organization and dialogue implementation of sub projects, documentation of transactions council management and preparation or formation of sub projects.
