Cement block thieves convictedWednesday, July 08, 2009 Three people have began to serve their sentences at the State Central Prison after being convicted of stealing cement blocks. Alhaji Yahya Dibba, Lamin Yabou and Saikuba Darboe, were found guilty of stealing by the Brikama Magistrates Court presided over by Magistrate F. Forster. Alhaji Y Dibba was sentenced to 6 months, and Lamin Yabou and Saikuba Darboe were given 8 months each. Drama Upon hearing the verdict, the convicts' wives, who were in court, started falling about and rolling on the ground, attracting onlookers.
