Champion DJ to entertain Gambians in the US

Reports reaching What's On have revealed that Champion DJ, Lamin Cham, of the Mighty Champion Sound Movement, together with other finest selectors in the United States of America, are currently bracing up for what could be described as the biggest Gambian  Koriteh Party to be held in the US.

The event dubbed 'Gambia New York Link Up Party' is described by many to be one of the biggest events ever staged by Gambians outsides the shores of The Gambia. This new development is among series of the Champion Dj's efforts to reach out to his fans where ever they are, as well as to showcase his unending skills and talents as one of the top disc jockeys this country has ever produced.

However, the event is designed to unite Gambians resident in the  US, under one roof and to celebrate Koriteh Special Party in grand style. Slated for  Saturday 11th September 2010, to be held at the Westchester Avenue Bronx, New York, the event according to reports, is expected to attract a considerable number of Gambian immigrants living in the US as well as other nationalities.

Taking into Consideration the number of people who plan to grace the event, organisers are also working on modalities to include all types of music ranging from dancehall, RnB, soul and  just to name a few. Would be attendees are assured of full satisfaction to the max, as Champion DJ Lamin Cham and other finest selectors are ready to give them (attendees) the best selection ever.

According to the president Award Winning DJ Lamin Cham, of the Mighty Champion Sound System, who is currently in the US, the event will be one of its kind as Gambians in New York and other states are currently in frenzy atmosphere ahead of the much publicised event.

Champion DJ together with  couples of other finest  DJ's will be at hand to entertain the crowd throughout the night long till the late  hours. Meanwhile, with the level of preparartion in place, reports have  it that, the event will remain in the hearts and minds of people for a long time especially for those who will attend it, as it will be like celebrating Koriteh party at the home front. It will be a memorable one in the sense that, it will create the platform for Gambians in the US, to come together under one umbrella and celebrate Koriteh feast in an atmosphere of a peaceful entertainment for the first time in the States. Other invited guest artistes are expected to grace the event.
