Chief Baldeh applauds President Jammeh for S/K Bridge construction

Biran Baldeh, the chief of Upper Fulladou West district, has sent a letter of gratitude to President Jammeh for his magnanimous and timely support that ensured the successful completion of the Sankulay Kunda Bridge project.

The letter reads:
On behalf of my family, the people of my district, the entire region of Central River Region and indeed on my own behalf, I wish to express our profound gratitude and appreciation to Your Excellency for your magnanimous and timely support that has ensured the successful completion of the Sankuleh Kunda Bridge Project.

I am immensely happy to mention that I was privileged to pay a visit to the said Bridge Project Site with respected elders in my community on Monday 7th June 2010 and I am enormously proud to intimate that what we saw was a magnificent replica of a bridge that is constructed with the workmanship and standards that are with par with any renowned bridge around the world.

This has thus warranted a deserved gratitude and assurances of undiminished allegiance to Your Excellency and continuous bestowment of peace, long life, good health and prosperity by the Almighty Allah for Your Excellency to be empowered with fortitude and wisdom to remain in office and to carry our beloved country, The Gambia, to realize the objectives envisioned in its Vision 2020.

Your Excellency, on a final note, I have the utmost pleasure to crave Your Excellency's indulgence to allow me further reassure Your Excellency of our highest consideration and also to accept our partnership in the quest to develop our beloved country.

In a similar vein, the Fulladou Faraba Ex-students Association has also written to President Jammeh, commending him for the construction of the Sankulay Kunda Bridge.

The letter reads:
We the Ex-Students of Fulladu Faraba Lower Basic School, wish to declare our happiness about the well-done job you did at Sankulay Kunda. It is with our profound gratitude and deep sense of humanity that we extend to you, President Jammeh, our sincere thanks and appreciation for your benevolence in the construction of the bridge you did at Sankulay Kunda Janjangbureh Ferry Crossing Point.

Your Excellency, with the help of this bridge, our students and parents can travel to Janjangbureh everyday for schooling and daily businesses without costing or wasting their time on the way. This will help students in the neighboring villages to stay with parents while attending school at Janjangbureh everyday and helping our parents on the farms and rice fields.

We will also use this opportunity to convey our heartfelt congratulation to you Mr. President on the various achievements registered by your Government such as Education, Agriculture, Health, Women's Empowerment, Tourism, Investment and Regional Integration among others.

You Excellency, we want to assure to you that, we will be at the opening ceremony of the Bridge at Sankulay to show our gratitude and appreciation for your well-done job.

In an another development, one Sarjo Sonko of Bakau has also sent a congratulatory message to President Jammeh on the occasion of the 16th Anniversary of the July 22nd Revolution.

The letter reads:
I have the honor and due respect to wish a happy and a successful 16th year of July 22nd celebration in advance Sir, since you took over the affairs of this country as the Head of State, evidence and indicator have show numerous development in all sector, such achievement and accomplishment are inevitably to all and Sundry.

This year 2010 we envisage the usual pronouncement on development projects which your government continues to provide to the Gambian people, we as patriotic citizens would always wish to acknowledge and appreciate your efforts and shall continue to stand by the truth using tangible evidence at our disposal.

You have proved beyond all reasonable doubt that you are a man of the people and that you have not come to rule over the people but to serve them and rule with them. You are definitely worth a praise and commendable. You have truly demonstrated high degree of maturity, sincerity, patriotism, loyalty, sensitivity, sympathy and shut the mouth of all skeptics.

To this effect, I wish to thank Your Excellency for a job well done and continue to pray for your supreme guidance and protection from the Almighty Allah, we are confident that the Almighty Allah will continue to strengthen your ability to take care of the affairs of our beloved country, The Gambia. May Allah continue to guide you once again in all your development aspiration including the achievement of Vision 2020.
