CIDs searching for accused

A police prosecutor had informed a Magistrate court that Police Criminal Investigations Officers are searching for an accused person.

Sergeant Jammeh, a police prosecutor at the Brikama Magistrates court had informed the court that, the CIDs Unite at the Old Yundum Station are searching for Dodou Bojang who is facing trial before Magistrate Faster for cattle theft.

Dodou Bojang was charged with cattle theft together with one John Mendy, but since they got bail only Mendy who was punctual in court. Sergeant Jammeh who is handling the case applied to the court for a bench warrant for the arrest of Dodou Bojanghe When the case was called on Wednesday July 15,2009, seargeant Jammeh said, "your worship, the bench warrant is still with the CIDs in Old Yundum Station and they are searching for him." Base on that he applied for an adjournment until July 27, 2009. Jonh Mendy, the second accused was present in court.
