As part of its C-Mobile Holding's global strategy, Comium, one of the leading GSM operators in the county, has introduced its new vision heralded by the launch of its new brand on May 6.

At a press conference, yesterday, held at the Comium main office along the Kairaba Avenue, the Comium commercial director, Pieler Bakker said this new identity celebrates the African culture and heritage while symbolising the warmth and togetherness of a communication partner dedicated to their customers' ultimate satisfaction.

The new logo, based on the 'Africa sand red' colour roots also focuses on the positive emotions communication bring by adopting an iconic smile as the brand ambassador. He said Comium's slogan 'we are better together' is the umbrella under which innovative, easy, friendly and valuable communication services are being offered to customers for a uniquely positive experience.

According to him, Comium will unveil a series of services over the next few months to make Gambians "smile for life". Amer Atwi, general manager of Comium stated that they are committed to the communities they serve.  "Our promise is that together, we can smile for life through our valuable offers and service," he said.

According to him, Comium is introducing its first of many initiatives with the smile tarriff, to make everyone in the Gambia smile, and to give the whole Gambian community one more reason to smile.
