Omar Sanyang, a commercial vehicle driver, was yesterday, March 9th 2010 arraigned before Magistrate Abubacarr Secka at the Bundung Magistrates Court on charges of dangerous driving, contrary to the laws of the country.

The particulars of the offence revealed that the accused on the 11th of January 2010, on  Abuko Highway in the Kanifing Municipality, drove a commercial vehicle with registration number: BJL 4755E in a very dangerous manner, which posed threat to the general public.

 He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of D5000 with one Gambian surety. The case is adjourned to the 18th of March for hearing. Corporal 134 Sambou represented the IGP at the trial.
