One Abdou Keita, a resident of London Corner was on Wednesday arraigned before Magistrate M Nying of the Kanifing Magistrates Court, charged with attempt to commit felony.

According to the particulars of the offence, the accused did on the 28th of March 2010 at Serrekunda in London Corner in the Kanifing Municipality, enter into the dwelling house of one Safiatou Touray with the intention to steal.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge and the prosecutor for the case, 252 Jawo, applied for an adjournment in order to call his witness. The accused was finally granted bail in the sum of D3, 500.00 and the matter was adjourned to 3rd May for continuation.
