The Kanifing Magistrates Court, presided over by Magistrate B Mahoney, on Tuesday granted bail to one Emmanuel Equavoea and Henry Ekutewe in the sum of D75,000. The duo were arraigned on charges of assault causing bodily harm.

According to the prosecution, the duo assaulted one Frank Obi by hitting him on his left eye, thereby causing him serious injury. When the charge sheet was read to them, they both pleaded not guilty to the charge.
