'Death dealing' driver's case fails to proceedThursday, October 01, 2009 The criminal case involving one Ousman Suwareh, a driver charged with allegedly causing the deaths of two people in a fatal car accident in Tallinding some time in August 2009 could not proceed yesterday before Magistrate Lamin George of the Bundung Magistrates Court. When the case was called, the police prosecutor, Sergeant 1042 Kujabi told the court that the prosecution had sent the file to the AG's Chambers for legal advice on the matter and is yet to receive the said file from the Chambers. He then applied for the case to be adjourned while expressing hope that the prosecution will lay hands on the file before the next adjournment date. Lawyer Lamin Mboge, counsel for the accused, raised no objection. Magistrate Lamin George granted the application and adjourned the case to October 13.
