The first ever Senegambian rap music compilation was recently released with more than seventeen artists taking part from the two countries.

Produced by Artistik production, the concept of the album is to fight against illegal migration. According to Abass, the producer of the compilation, the album features seventeen tracks and a jingle for the sponsors, Africell. "We want to help the government in their bid to end illegal migration which is claiming the lives of hundreds of Gambians," said Abass.

"The back way is deadly and is not the solution to the problems of the youths," the producer added. Fippu Squad, Poetic X, A9, Big Faa, Grandiz Crew, Jali Madi (Acoustic man), Junior Sam, Mame Mbaye, Pepper House, Kanasu Bars, Negrophil Army, Organic Acoustic, Lyri Jah all took part in the compilation.
