De-Light Foundation International (DLFI) in partnership with Youth Care Foundation (YCF) The Gambia Saturday organised an inter-school English Language Proficiency Competition and Career Development seminar for upper basic and senior secondary schools in the North Bank Region (NBR).

The competition was designed to help students broaden their knowledge in using literary words and spellings in English Language Proficiency in schools and the community at large. The competition was in two categories, one involving the senior secondary schools -Essau, Berending and Kuntaya SSS.

Upper basic schools such as Fass Njagga Choi Basic Cycle School, Essau and Berending Basic Cycle Schools, took part in the spelling bee competition and debate.
