‘Drug peddler’nabbedTuesday, May 22, 2012 Operatives of the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA)
Sunday 20th May , 2012 arrested one Pa Sulayman Jallow at his residence in
Farato for being in possession of prohibited drugs. Confirming this development to the Daily Observer,
Superintendent Abdoulie Ceesay, the public relations officer of the NDEA said
operatives received a tip-off that the accused was in possession of
cannabis. His words: “Upon their arrival at his residence, a search
was conducted in his room and the officers discovered six big parcels and 25
small wraps of cannabis. During the operation, the accused was found in his
room with two people (names withheld) whom the accused said came for a visit
who were later released on bail.” Ceesay added that the accused is charged for being in possession of prohibited drugs contrary to Section 351 (A) of the Drug Control Act 2003 and is under custody helping them in their investigation. Author: Omar Wally | Media Actions See Also |
