One Ansu Dibba on Tuesday, May 22nd 2012, appeared before the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, presided over by Principal Magistrate Sheriff Tabally, charged with being in possession of prohibited drugs, contrary to Section 351 of the Criminal Code, Laws of The Gambia.

The particulars of the offence stated that the accused on the 30th January 2012, at Farafenni in the North Bank Region was caught with 25grams of Cannabis sativa, a prohibited drug, thereby committed an offence. The accused person denied the allegation and was however granted bail in the sum of D300, 000 with two Gambian sureties. Corporal Gaye stood for the NDEA.
