Essau Health Centre receives donation

The Big Smile, a charitable organisation based in the United Kingdom, last Sunday donated some medical items worth over 1,800 pounds to the Essau Health Centre in the North Bank Region.

The presentation ceremony was held at Health Centre ground.The donated items included, a Nebuliser, refrigerator, hospital nets, television and a blanket.Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Ngally Aboubacarr Sambou, the regional director of Health Services for the North Bank west, thanked the donors for the gesture donated items.

Sambou assured the donors that the items will improve maternal health and reduce child morbidity and mortality. He thanked the donors for the support given to the health centre.Sambou further assured them that the items will be put in to good use.

Other speakers include; Babou Loum and Saidou Saine, who all thanked the donors for their support.
