Tuesday, July 03, 2012
The ex-agric officials’ case at the Brikama High Court could not proceed on Friday, 29th June 2012. The team of defence counsel with their clients were present in court, but the prosecutors were not.
The trial judge, Justice Emmanuel Amadi said in the absence of the prosecution meant the court had no other option but to adjourn the case to 3rd July 2012. The judge said the court will find out the reason (s) that led to the absence of the prosecution, and subsequently adjourned the case to July 3rd 2012.
