Female presenters to play Artists at Manjai Field

The Gambia Female Presenters will today, Friday play an exhibition football game against the Female Artists at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.


The Artists team will comprise of stars such as Sambou Susso, Cess Ngum, Rugi, Lena, Jali Musso, Jah bless, Jay Mbye, Nancy Waggeh amongst others while the presenters will comprise of the female media personnel ranging from DJ, Sports broadcasters to Newspaper journalists.


Speaking to this reporter, Kalilu Banjang, the administrative secretary of the National Female Artist Association (NFAA), revealed that the whole initiative came from Nancy Nanz. Bojang who said that their main aim is to encourage sport and gender, urged all and sundry to turn out in numbers and cheer the female players on.


The president of NFAA, Sambou Susso expressed similar sentiments. She also said that they want to promote the sports for health as well as showcase their various talents in order to be able to promote unity and set examples. She added that they intend to make the innitiative an annual affair.
