Fricky L on singles promo campaign

Africa » Gambia
Friday, February 10, 2012

A rising Gambian artist with the Hamale G Crew, is currently on a promotional campaign ahead of the official released of his two solo-singles dubbed ‘Garanty Jalo’ and ‘Chufaye’.

Fricky L as his stage name goes with Hamale G, is not a strange name in the country’s music scene as he over the years blazed the scene in grand style. The latter music group is household name in the country and they performed at big concerts across the length of the country. Superbly recorded at various recording studios notably; Shy Boy Entertainment and Madela Records, the afro beat riddims are currently blazing the airwaves, as they are currently played in most FM radios in the Greater Banjul Area.

In a brief interview with What’s On, Frick L explained that the move is meant to promote our culture and that he started it some three months ago. ‘Chufaye’, he said, is a name of dance style he wants to introduce in the country. Fircky L further maintained that he is still Hamale G Crew as ever before and that they have a lot of surprise packages in the offing. He equally use the opportunity to state that the videos of this two singles are expected in the market soon. He then called on his fellow artists to be steadfast and focus in their quest to offer good vibes to the audience.
