Gambia brace up for first ever DJ Clash - As it goes nationwide

As preparation ahead of the first ever DJ Clash 2009, the organizers of this mega event has disclosed that the upcoming event will now feature top DJ’s around the length and breadth of the country.  

Being the first of its kind, the event will no doubt showcase talents from different DJ’s who are identify for this years’ competition. It is scheduled to take place on December 18th 2009 at the Dream Park in Senegambia. Organized by the President Award Winning DJ aka Poor People’s Governor, DJ Lamin Cham of the Champion Sound Promotions, in collaboration with international partners, the event will mark another significant milestone in the history of the country’s entertainment sector. “This mega event will feature hot selectors from provincial town with FM stations namely Farafenni, Basang, Basse.

There are six giant trophies for winners in recognition of their talents,”said the president award winning DJ while revealing that it will feature all categories of music genres ranging from Reggae to R& B and of course African hits. Some of the top DJs in the line according to Champion DJ includes, the famous Fire Man from (Fire House Crew), G-Faal and Blazer - all of West Coast Radio; Pa Boy, Jimmy Sense, Diamond and Sky P. Guest artists for the night include the Gambia’s finest reggae dancehall sensation Singateh aka Freaky Joe, Jalex aka Akuntu, Bala Ranks, Egalitarian, and Melody M. Tell a friend to tell friend!!!!!!
