A nawettan team in the Central River Region village of Niamina Kudang who have recently presented a giant trophy Gambia Cellular Company Limited (Gamcel).

The coveted trophy was deservingly clinched by the team that name themselves after the telecommunication institution. Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at Gamcel headquarters in Kanifing, the skipper of the team, Lamin Ceesay, said the the presentation was only meant to thank Gamcel for their support to the team that have just won their first trophy in five years of their existence.

He added that his village team will hope for continued partnership with with the cellular company. In his reaction, Gamcel's marketing manager, Lamin Fofana, said his institution is always proud to association itself with sports development in the country. He said that Gamcel continues to support football development in all parts of the country,hinting such is a social responsibility Gamcel owes to the youth.
